Accessibility

Everyone belongs in the herd. That includes people who browse with a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, zoom, or reduced motion. We want this store to work for you.

What we aim for

We work to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That is the standard most people use to measure website accessibility.

What we have done

  • Every product photo has a text description.
  • Text and buttons have enough color contrast to read comfortably.
  • You can shop, play the games, and use the pop-ups with a keyboard alone.
  • Form fields have labels, and status messages are announced to screen readers.
  • Animations stop if your device is set to reduce motion.

What we are still working on

  • Some videos on our Iceland trek blog rely on YouTube's automatic captions, which are not always accurate.
  • The timed games on our app page cannot be slowed down. Timing is part of the game, so we left it in.
  • Reviews, email sign-up pop-ups, the shipping bar, and checkout come from outside services. We pick accessible settings, but we do not control their code.

Tell us what is not working

If something on this site gets in your way, we want to hear about it. Email Robin at Robin@iamglytja.com. Tell us the page and what happened. A real person reads every message, and we will help you get what you need, including placing an order with you directly.
