Lead Mares: The IamGlytja Ambassador Program

Every herd has a boss mare. Ours is Glytja, and she's not hiring.

But every trail needs a lead mare. The one who goes first, sets the pace, and looks back to make sure everyone's still coming.

That could be you.

What Lead Mares get

• Free gear. The Ultimate Trail shirt to start, plus new pieces to wear-test before anyone else sees them.

• Your story, told. A Boss Mare Spotlight on the blog and our social channels.
• A voice in what we make next. Lead Mares see new designs first, and your feedback shapes them.

What we ask

• You actually ride trails. Any breed, any pace, any age. Gaited, western, english, bareback. Miles matter. Ribbons don't.
• Two posts a month in your gear, tagged @iamglytja and #BossMaresOnTheTrail. Real photos from real rides.
• Honest feedback when we send you something new. If a pocket is in the wrong place, say so.
• Let us reshare your photos and your story.

The founding term runs six months. Ride it well and we'll ask you to stay.

Who we're looking for

Fifteen women. We're not counting your followers. We're looking for real riders from every corner of the trail world: re-riders, first-timers at 50, endurance junkies, walk-only wanderers, grandmothers who out ride everyone. Every age, every horse, every pace.

How to apply

Email Robin@iamglytja.com with the subject line Lead Mare and tell us:

• Your name and where you ride
• Your horse. Or the horse you ride, or the one you're working your way back to.
• Your social handles if you have them (optional, truly)
• The short version of your story: the trail you love, and the woman you've become on it

Applications for the founding class close November 1. We'll announce the first fifteen Lead Mares in mid-November.
