Candle Beggar Yule Lad ornament

Last one down the mountain. Saved the sweetest crime for Christmas Eve.

Candle Beggar (Kertasníkir) arrives December 24, the thirteenth and final Yule Lad. Back when candles were precious, he followed children around hoping to snatch theirs. All he wanted was a little light.

At HestaRokk, Gössi is our cheerful troublemaker. He and Candle Beggar would get along great, right up until something caught fire.

Charlotte’s artwork in full color on lightweight ceramic, with a gold cord, ready to hang. Oval shape.

Hang him last. Then light a candle for him. He’s had a long trip.
