Gully Gawk Yule Lad Ornament

He lurks in ditches. He waits for the barn door to open. Then he goes for the milk foam.

Gully Gawk (Giljagaur) is the second Yule Lad, arriving December 13. He hides in gullies and ravines until the coast is clear, then slips into the cowshed to skim the froth right off the milk pails.

At HestaRokk, Glytja is always scanning the ditches for deer. This year she may find something weirder.

Charlotte’s artwork in full color on lightweight ceramic, with a gold cord, ready to hang.

Check the gullies. He’s already watching.
