Réttir Weekender Duffel

Some bags carry gym clothes. This one carries a flock.

Charlotte sketched these sheep at réttir, the Icelandic roundup where everyone heads into the hills and brings the whole flock home. They’re good at traveling in a group. Now they travel with you.

Pack it for the barn with your gloves, hoof pick, and the emergency granola bar. Pack it for a weekend away, a horse show, or the overnight at your sister’s. Sling it over your shoulder and head out the door.

It’s tough canvas that handles dirt and doesn’t mind getting tossed in the truck bed. There’s a padded adjustable strap for long walks from the trailer, and a name tag inside so nobody walks off with your sheep.

Which size?

Small is your barn bag. It holds gloves, a brush kit, a pair of paddock boots, and snacks. Good for the gym or a day trip. Its shorter strap carries on one shoulder.

Large is your weekender. It holds a horse show’s worth of gear or a couple days of clothes. Its longer strap goes crossbody. If you’re packing for Iceland, get the large.
