On the 15th of December, this sneaky fellow shows up with one goal in mind—licking all the wooden spoons he can find! Whether it’s a spoon used for stirring soup or mixing batter, if it’s left unattended, Spoon Licker will swipe it for a quick taste.

He’s tall and thin from his peculiar diet, but he’s harmless—just a little obsessed with getting every last bit of food from those spoons. In Icelandic tradition, the Yule Lads are mischievous brothers who visit during the 13 days leading up to Christmas, each with their own quirky habits.
